Pediatric Cancer Care

The pediatric cancer team at Mission Children's Hospital consists of three board certified hematologists/oncologists specially trained to manage complex pediatric cancers and blood disorders. Our program also includes pediatric nurse practitioners, pediatric nurses, social workers, pharmacists and Child Life therapists. Together, we have a common goal of providing excellent and comprehensive medical care to the young patients of western North Carolina.

Our program is the only group specifically trained and certified to care for pediatric patients with cancer or blood disorders in western North Carolina. Our location in the SECU Cancer Center allows us to provide comprehensive care in one central location with our on-site laboratory services, pharmacy and infusion center for chemotherapy administration.
