The typical patient experience can be broken down into four steps: Evaluation – Your evaluation will include reviewing relevant medical history, taking measurements and impressions, which will be used to make a perfectly fitting artificial limb or brace. Fabrication – Our skilled technicians will create your artificial limb or brace in our in-house fabrication lab right here in Asheville, North Carolina. Fitting and instruction – Our practitioners will help you test the fit and comfort of your new device, and make sure that you understand the proper use and care for the device. If necessary, a CarePartners physical therapist will be available to provide additional help and training. Adjustments and repairs – You and your practitioner will work together to get just the right fit.
