  Julie Dikos, MSN, RN

Chief Executive Officer

Julie has been with Asheville Specialty Hospital since July 2016. Julie has a distinguished 27 year nursing career with particular expertise in clinical operations and nursing management. She received her BSN from Oakland University in Rochester, MI and her MSN from Duke University school of Nursing. During her career, she has served in multiple leadership roles, each with ever increasing levels of responsibility. Most recently, Julie was the Director of Critical Care Service Lines with Mission Health. As CEO Julie participates in various health system oversight committees including the Post-Acute Care Leadership team. Julie serves as a member of the Asheville Specialty Medical Executive Committee and is Secretary of the Asheville Specialty Board of Trustees. She lives in WNC with her husband and they enjoy traveling to visit family.

Tyler Groesser, MBA
Chief Financial Officer

Tyler Groesser has 9 years of healthcare experience and joined the CarePartners team as the Chief Financial Officer in October 2020.

Prior to joining CarePartners, Tyler served as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer of Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. He also has additional experience with the South Atlantic Division of HCA as Assistant CFO and Interim CFO with two other sister facilities.

During his career, Mr. Groesser has attained valuable experience working with diverse healthcare teams to provide excellent, affordable care to the communities he has served. Tyler has thoroughly enjoyed his career in healthcare industry as he enjoys the challenges the industry navigates on a regular basis.

Tyler received his Master of Business Administration Degree from Western Carolina University. He also attained dual Bachelor degrees at WCU in Financial Planning as well as Entrepreneurship with a minor in Economics. There he served as President of the Economics Honors Fraternity for four consecutive years.

In his personal life, Tyler and his wife Nicole enjoy spending time outdoors kayaking, rock climbing and paddle boarding. Tyler and Nicole have two children.

Dr. Ronnie Jacobs, MD
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Ronnie Jacobs, MD joined Asheville Specialty Hospital as Medical Director in 2012, becoming Chief Medical Officer in 2016. Dr. Jacob’s earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UNC Pembroke and his Doctorate in Medicine from UNC Chapel Hill. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Moses Cone Hospital where he received the Best 3rd year Resident Award. Dr. Jacobs was in private practice at Alamance Internal Medicine, Burlington, NC. He then served as Chief Medical Officer for Prime Doc Physician Company where he developed and managed fourteen Hospitalist Programs. In 2007 he served as Cogent Hospitalist Management Group’s Regional Chief Medical Officer successfully developing and managing twenty-five Hospitalist Teams over the Eastern and Southern United States. Dr. Jacob’s is boarded with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys hunting and fishing.
