Mission Health’s Mother-Baby Unit offers comfortable private rooms where families comfortably bond after childbirth while receiving support from staff. Highly skilled and specially trained nurses are dedicated to family-centered care, providing education and support for feeding and caring for your newborn in preparation for going home. Mission Hospital is a designated North Carolina 5-Star Breastfeeding-Friendly Maternity Center and is a regional leader in breastfeeding support.

High-Risk Pregnancy Care and Support

Patient safety and satisfaction are our most important goals. Maternal-fetal medicine is Mission Hospital's antepartum high-risk unit providing care for women in the surrounding 19 counties. Our supporting team of caregivers includes our perinatal nurse navigator, nurses, social workers, dietitians and obstetric specialists, and is available to provide care for you and your unborn baby every step of the way at Mission Hospital. Breastfeeding Class

Get breastfeeding off to the best start possible with our breastfeeding class. Designed for expectant mothers, we will go over everything you would want to know before your little bundle arrives. There is a $20 class fee for this class that is due upon the start of class. - The $20 class fee will be waived for any virtual classes due to coronavirus.
