MISSION STATEMENT

Mission Clinics International seeks to heal body and soul in Christ.

PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Church

  1. Ongoing work of the Higueronal congregation, with meetings on Sundays and Thursdays and average Sunday attendance increased to greater than 100 at year end.
  2. Summer Thursday congregation meetings held in member homes.
  3. Continues house to house evangelism ministry in the community and benevolence ministry.
  4. Focused evangelism in the Lower Torti community during the summer.
  5. Participates in combined worship service with other local congregation.
  6. Congregation plans and implements two evangelistic events during the year, one in spring and one in December.
  7. Church members operate a store with proceeds donated to the church.
  8. Hosts celebration events separately for mothers, fathers and children.
  9. Visiting evangelists from Ecuador and Peru work with the congregation. Evangelists from Ecuador continue work ongoing.

 

Community Involvement

  • Government Ministry of Health holds mobile surgical clinic on project site.
  • Local school holds graduation ceremony at project site.

Clinic

  • Construction completed: near completion of exterior support structures
  • Revised design of clinic
